Dans la mangrove près de Cotonou au Bénin, une pirogue dérivait lentement dans la lumière d'un petit matin calme.

Cette photo a à peine été recadrée, aucun traitement ne lui a été appliqué.

Great composition. Like many rainforest photos the colour is a bit dull due to the strong contrast in light. It would be worth tweaking this a little. It is a nice photo.

lovely. i agree with helen. have you tried upping the contrast a bit or maybe saturating the color a little? the composition is wonderful.

@Jennifer: Yes, I tried but the light is not exactly what I saw when I was there.
The result was not as soft and serene …
Maybe I did not find the right setup.

Anyway, thanks to you all. As for the composition it was hard to do it right since I was in a similar boat … moving slowly. I shot several pictures and this one was the right one. Digital technology is marvelous :-)
